Kaazi sport platform unveils Ghana’s ‘Takeover Tour’

Kaazi sport platform for scouting football talents has unveiled the kickoff of its highly anticipated Takeover Tour in Tema, Ghana. The dynamic event promises an unforgettable experience for both footballers and fans.

Scheduled for Saturday, March 23rd, the event will unfold at the Sakumono Beachside Astro Turf, and will offer a lively setting for participants and spectators alike. Footballers attending the event will seize the opportunity to showcase their skills in two thrilling competitions.

Participants will engage in a video scouting match, providing them with the chance to catch the eye of Kaazi’s professional network of scouts.

Athletes will also compete in a shooting contest, vying for a cash prize. The contest will test participants’ goal-scoring skills and shooting precision, elevating the excitement of the event.

In addition to the football showcase, attendees will enjoy live musical performances, further enhancing the festive atmosphere and providing entertainment for all.

Owner of Kaazi, Nana Yaw Oppong-Mensah, an English FA licensed football coach and scout, witnessed the increasing frustration and desperation of football players in his hometown in Ghana. He founded Kaazi in 2020 during COVID lockdown to resolve this.

The Ghanaian football app and web-based platform allows football players in Africa and recruiters to find each other and transact safely online. Kaazi also documents stories of players and communities in Africa and its diaspora. It allows football players to build their own football profile.

Players can also add videos and upload match highlights to showcase their talent directly to scouts and professional football clubs. Scouts and professional football clubs can use the app to search for talents and organise football trial matches.

“We are thrilled to kick off our Takeover Tour in Tema, Ghana,” said Nana Yaw Oppong-Mensah, CEO of Kaazi. “This event not only provides footballers with a platform to showcase their talent but also serves as a celebration of community. We eagerly anticipate welcoming footballers, fans, and music enthusiasts to this first-of-its-kind event in Ghana.”

Kaazi’s technology-driven platform is with a mission to provide opportunities for rising stars. It also employs cutting-edge tools to accelerate the development of football careers.

Footballers interested in participating can sign up on the Kaazi website. Due to limited spaces, interested individuals are encouraged to register early to secure their spot. For media inquiries or further information, please contact info@kaazi.live.
