Edward Asare makes list of top 50 Ghanaian bloggers in 2021

Popular Ghanaian Blogger and Digital Marketer, Edward Asare has been named as one of the 2021 Top 50 Ghanaian Bloggers by Africa’s leading Rating & PR firm, Avance Media.

Launched in 2018, the annual ranking seeks to recognize the contributions and efforts of Ghanaian bloggers who are redefining the country’s media and blogging industry.

At an awards ceremony and soiree held on 28th July, 2021 at San Marino Hotel in Osu, all the Top 50 Bloggers received prize packages.

Organized by Avance Media in partnership with Woodin and Verna Water, the 2021 ranking was done based on annual website traffic and social media influence.

Debuting at No. 49, Edward Asare focuses on human interest stories from around the world. Asare who has amassed a huge following with a growing community of about 95,000 followers on his social media platforms started blogging actively in 2020. His website is gradually becoming one of the most visited news portal for lifestyle and human interest stories.

It also features A list names including Rashad Kojo Emmanuel( Felix Adomako Mensah (Zionfelix), Ameyaw Debrah, Kwadwo Sheldon, Eugene Sarfo Nkansah (Nkonkonsa), Augustus K. Kyei (, Chris-V.Agyapong (, Isaac Aidoo ( among others.

Commenting on this feat, Edward Asare expressed that “I strongly believe everyone has a story to tell; the good, the bad and ugly. We need to celebrate the success stories of people; the wins, challenges, lessons and failures. Most importantly, more people need to understand the essence of trusting the process, determination and resilience. Asare who started his Digital Marketing career at TV3 currently works with United Bank of Africa (UBA) as a Digital Marketer. Prior to joining UBA, he worked as a Social Media Manager with blogging giant

In 2020, he was adjudged Digital Influencer of the Year at the Youth Excellence Awards and was also nominated as Youth Blogger of the Year and Digital Marketer of the Year.
