WINVESTNET Ltd launches $2B Pan-African Investment Funds & First Trade Finance platform in Africa

WINVESTNET Ltd launches in Morocco the Pan-African Investment Funds (PAIF) of $2B US dollars, they also became the first to launch the Trade Finance Platform (TFP) in the continent of Africa.

The said projects (PAIF and TFP) were announced by Reda RAMI, president of WINVESTNET Ltd, an investment platform based in Hong Kong. This announcement came during the Africa Investment Meeting (AIM ROADSHOW), which was held consecutively in Washington DC in the United States, and in Beijing China during October 2019.

Present at the event was His Excellency Albert Muchanga, Commissioner of the AFRICAN UNION in charge of Trade and Industry.

A year later, the pan-African investment funds “WIN FUNDS” and the platform of Trade Finance “WIN TRANSACT” were created in Morocco, which was chosen as a regional hub by WINVESTNET to serve the African continent.

In its press release, Reda RAMI presented WIN FUNDS “as an entity that will ensure the structuring and promotion of pan-African investment funds specialized in sectors such as Industry, Agriculture, Health, Energy, Infrastructure, and New Technologies, among others.

With a board of directors, composed of world-renowned industry experts, whose first meeting was held virtually on November 12, 2020, WIN FUNDS has already initiated partnerships with Moroccan and other African management companies, to entrust them with the operational management of the said funds.

On the other hand, regarding the Trade Finance platform, Reda Rami assured that “WIN TRANSACT” which offers innovative instruments for international transactions, “is currently operational and has concluded its first Trade transactions in Morocco, notably on behalf of importers of Hydrocarbons and Raw Materials.
