After they prorogued the initial launch of their music album, Tema-based music group, R2Bees, has announced the date of release of their high and much-anticipated album, titled ‘SITE 15‘.
The ‘SITE 15’ album is their third professional career studio project, and is due for release on the first day of March in the year 2019.
According to the award-winning group, the album which was supposed to be released last year had to be postponed due to a distribution deal they were finalising with Universal Music Group.
On their verified Twitter account, the awards winning music group, comprising of rapper, Omar Sterling also known as Paedae and vocalist Mugeez, R2bees made this revelation, confirming the group’s album release.
The two lads went about their music business quietly in the year during which they released couple of hit songs which included ‘Supa‘, ‘Beautiful‘, and ‘Boys Kasa‘ in 2018. A lot of their singles caught on quite well despite the plethora of songs that hit the Ghana over the years.
R2Bees is scheduled to headline a concert on March 8, 2019 in Washington DC, with the objective of celebrating Ghana’s 62nd independence independence, the concert will present Ghanaians and Africans in the Diaspora an opportunity to witness R2bees in performance on the heels of their latest album.
Active since 2007, R2Bees is a Ghanaian hip hop and hiplife duo that is also a 2013 BET Awards-nominee from Ghana’s coastal city of Tema, its founders are known in personal life as Faisal Hakeem (Paedae da Pralem/Omar Sterling) and Rashid Mugeez (Mugeez).
