Ghanaian Professional Network (GhPN) to host 3rd annual gala
The Ghanaian Professionals Network (GhPN) is hosting its 3rd annual GhPN Gala, which promises to be a memorable event celebrating Ghanaian excellence. The gala will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023, 6pm at the Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum by the Galleria in Dallas, Texas, USA.
The organized group brings Ghanaian professionals together to build a vibrant social and professional network. Its goal is to help support and advance the careers, businesses, and education interests of its community through mentoring, networking, community education and academic scholarship.
“Ultimately, we want to influence the image and progress of the Ghanaian community in the diaspora and back home,” said GhPN to TheAfricanDream.net in a statement.
The gala will be a unique blend of tradition, celebration, and empowerment, highlighting the achievements of Ghanaian professionals while investing in the future through the GhPN Scholarship program.
It will immerse attendees in the rich cultural heritage of Ghana, and pay tribute to outstanding Ghanaian professionals who have made significant contributions. Guests can expect vibrant music, captivating performances, and delicious culinary delights.
The event will also include an award ceremony, cultural performances, and a silent auction offering cultural items and premium experiences, such as a private chef-catered dinner, a photoshoot, and United Airlines club passes.
According to the organisers, the gala is more than just a social event; it’s a celebration of the collective strength of the Ghanaian community, a testament to their achievements, and a commitment to a brighter future.
Proceeds from the gala will contribute to the GhPN Scholarship Fund, which has already awarded over $10,000 to a dozen students and proceeds from this year’s gala will support the educational endeavors of more students of Ghanaian descent.
