Maiden Edition of Miss Ghana Tourism USA for October 10, 2015

Miss Ghana Tourism USA is a beauty pageant that aims to endorse the beauty of Ghanaian women hailing from all parts of Ghana that are resident in the USA while promoting Ghanaian tourism and lifestyle.

The maiden edition of the beauty pageant will celebrate the cultures, histories, fashion and natural touristic beauty of Ghana. The event will be held on the weekend of October 10, 2015, at 9360 Gudelsky Drive at Rockville Maryland, in the 20850 zip code, USA.

During the event, information will be shared about Ghana’s tourism potential while inviting persons in the Diaspora and from all over in attendance to visit and experience Ghana for themselves.

Ghanaians living in the USA will also be encouraged through the annual event to visit home often to learn more about their own cultures, share them with friends and families and encourage potential visitors to consider exploring the rich culture and history of Ghana and its importance to the rest of the world.

Among the special guests of honor for the October 2015 event are Ghana’s Ambassador to the USA, His Excellency Lieutenant General Joseph Smith and Koby A. Koomson, former Ghana Ambassador to the USA.

Ghanaian musician Bice Osei Kuffour, a.k.a “Obuor” who is the current president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) is also expected in attendance among other dignitaries and individuals within the Diaspora communities in the US states of Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC and beyond.

Miss Ghana Tourism USA beauties are between the ages of 18 and 25 years old, of Ghanaian descendant and possess a strong desire and confidence to promoting Ghana as a tourist destination” according to the event’s organizers.

Some of the beauties that have already qualified to compete are Chantel Ampah, Michelle Ampah, Charlain Odae and Whitney Osei. The others are Cassandra Coleman and Philomena Quainoo and a lot more, al of whom will discover their fate on the finals come October 10, 2015.

MC’s for the night’s event which is scheduled to begin from 7PM to 2AM will be Harry Agyemang and Vivian Apreku.

On the bill to provide entertainment are Ghanaian musicians Kwabena Kwabena and KK Fosu, renowned Ghanaian percussionist Okyerema Asante, Kwame Ansah-Brew who is a passionate master drummer, dancer, saxophonist, actor and teacher-lover of traditional Ghanaian dancing. There will be other surprises.
