Cyber1Defense CEO, Foster Dogbe donates to alma mater, Chemu Secondary School, Ghana

Foster Dogbe, former student of Chemu Secondary School, a second cycle institution based in Tema Community 4, has given the school a desired financial support, to help with this year’s Maths and Science Quiz, as well as the athletics team. 

Mr. Dogbe who is the founder Cyber1Defense Communications, an information technology company based in Abelenkpe, a suburb of Accra, graduated from the school in 1997. In a comment, he stated that he responded to an appeal from the school’s heads and donated a substantial amount to support the institution. The donation according to Mr. Dogbe is part of Cyber1Defense’s corporate social responsibility for the year.

He gave out a cheque of 10,000 cedis and promised to do whatever he can to continue supporting the school. Speaking about what motivated him to reach out, Mr. Dogbe said, he and his team will be announcing other support programs like laptops, wifi and general technology tools, to enable the unprivileged access these basic but essential services as part of their educational growth.

“Additionally, giving back to my community can bring about a sense of fulfilment and satisfaction in knowing that I am making a positive impact in my home country as God Almighty is blessing me,” said Mr. Dogbe. 

Since moving to the United States almost 20 years ago, Mr. Dogbe has made significant contributions to the lives of institutions and individuals.

The recently commissioned cyber security centre also offers life changing learning skills for teenagers in the area, to ground them in the studies of the trends emerging in the field of technology.
