Ghana Fest DMV set to light up the U.S.

Ghana’s vibrant cultural energy is making its way to the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region this August as Berk’s Concepts unveils Ghana Fest DMV, a three-day celebration scheduled for August 7–9. The festival is designed to unite Ghanaians in the diaspora and lovers of African culture for a weekend of music, food, heritage, and community.

The festival is organized by Atlanta-based entertainment and events company Berk’s Concepts and builds on the brand’s track record of delivering high-energy African music experiences. Known for showcasing hiplife, highlife, Afrobeats, live bands, and top-tier DJs, the company is extending its cultural footprint with this flagship DMV edition, blending traditional Ghanaian heritage with contemporary diaspora expression.

Over the three-day celebration, attendees can expect a vibrant mix of live performances, DJ sets, Ghanaian cuisine, cultural exhibitions, fashion and art showcases, and community-focused activities, with family-friendly entertainment woven throughout. Ghana Fest DMV aims to deliver a full-spectrum taste of Ghana from pulsating rhythms to authentic culinary experiences.

Businesses, brands and community organizations interested in aligning with one of the DMV’s largest Ghanaian cultural celebrations are encouraged to explore sponsorship and partnership opportunities. The venue will be announced soon.

As excitement continues to build, Ghana Fest DMV is emerging as a defining diaspora celebration, honouring Ghanaian excellence, deepening international cultural ties, and showcasing the vibrant spirit of Ghana in the United States with remarkable flair.
