5th edition of Take Lead Conference to empower Malawian youths

Take Lead Conference (TLC) will hold its 5th edition this year under the theme “Dare to Dominate the Dough,” – a seminar and an empowerment program.

The conference is scheduled for 16th and 17th September 2022, hosted annually by the International Christian Assembly (ICA) in Lilongwe, Malawi. This year, it will hold at the ICA Youth Auditorium.

“The conference is intended for average young people from various backgrounds. It will serve as a platform for empowering individuals to prevail in their varieties of challenging situations,” said TLC to TheAfricanDream.net.

“At Take Lead Conference, various champions in our society are invited to come and both challenge and inspire young people. We desire to see young people leading purposeful lives as they dream and act boldly in their respective walk of life.”

Through the conference, TLC desires to see young people ignite:

  1. An ambition to be all God desires them to be
  2. An ambition to maximize the rich potential resident in them
  3. An ambition to led a disciplined life defined by clear visions and dreams
  4. An ambition to leave a lasting impact

There will be special presentations from the National Economic Empowerment Fund (NEEF) that will orient young people on how to access loans. As well, the Malawi Investment and Trade Centre (M.I.T.C) will speak on funding and investment opportunities.

“So this will be an economically empowering conference and we urge young people to come through with their business proposals,” said TLC to TheAfricanDream.net.

The event will have a guest of honour in attendance, Honourable Vera Kamtukule (Malawi’s Minister of Labour), and notable speakers like Rev. Dr. Enson Lwesya (ICA Senior Pastor), David Young (U.S Ambassador to Malawi), Samuel Ndubuisi Brown (CEO, Browncoin Group) and Prosper Mwakitalima (CEO-Founder, Tutume Worldwide).

Panelists include: KBG, Bob Phondo, Henderine Kachule, Samuel Masikini, Martin Masiya.

Malawi’s top artists like, Salimu (the Saxophone Artist), Blessed B Asante, Emmanuel, Chikondi, and Hear Us Dance Group would be performing.
