Osam-Peters crowned Miss Universe Ghana 2025, to rep globally

The Miss Universe Ghana Organization is proud to announce that Andromeda Osam-Peters has been crowned Miss Universe Ghana 2025. She will serve as Ghana’s official representative at the Miss Universe 2025 Pageant, carrying the nation’s pride and spirit to the global stage.
Under the guidance of Dr. Kate Ndi, National Director, and Teri Brown Walker, Co-Director, the Miss Universe Ghana franchise has been reinstated by the Miss Universe Organization (MUO). This marks Ghana’s highly anticipated return to the Miss Universe competition.
Due to this year’s tight schedule, the Miss Universe Organization approved a virtual pageant format. The selection process included virtual casting calls, interviews, and a final evaluation. Seven exceptional finalists participated, with Andromeda Osam-Peters emerging as the new Miss Universe Ghana 2025.
She is a licensed-psychotherapist and mental health advocate acting as an ambassador for several organizations serving Ghana. She aims to increase mental health resources in Ghana and champions for increased tourism in Ghana as the bridge between Ghana and the diaspora.
Her advocacy aligns with the Miss Universe mission of transforming lives through empowerment and leadership. “It is an incredible honor to represent Ghana at Miss Universe,” said Osam-Peters.
“I am passionate about helping young women embrace their confidence and purpose, and I look forward to showcasing the resilience, creativity, and beauty of Ghana to the world,” she added.
The event is the official national competition that selects Ghana’s delegate for the Miss Universe Pageant. The franchise is held by Afro Global Consulting LLC, a U.S.-based entity, an organization is committed to empowering women through leadership, cultural pride, and global representation.
“We are thrilled to bring Ghana back to the Miss Universe stage,” said Dr. Kate Ndi, National Director. “Andromeda embodies grace, intelligence, and leadership — qualities that represent the true Ghanaian woman. We are confident she will make our nation proud.”
Ghana has a proud history at Miss Universe, with previous delegates such as Menaye Donkor (2004) and Ruth Quashie (2017) gaining international recognition. The nation’s return marks a new era of beauty, pride, and purpose for Ghanaian women.

Plans are in progress for a full-scale Miss Universe Ghana Pageant in Accra in 2026, creating more opportunities for young Ghanaian women to showcase their talents.
“Bringing Ghana back to Miss Universe is both a joy and a responsibility,” added Teri Brown-Walker, Co-Director. “Our mission is to create a platform where Ghanaian women can rise, inspire, and compete with confidence on the world stage.”
The Miss Universe Ghana Organization extends sincere gratitude to the six other finalists for their commitment, excellence, and sense of sisterhood. The organization looks forward to engaging with them and other aspiring delegates in future pageants.
