Embassy of Ghana in US collaborates with Sonnie Badu for virtual concert

The Embassy of Ghana in the US has collaborated with UK-based Ghanaian Gospel singer, Sonnie Badu, to organize a virtual concert for Ghanaians.

Sonnie will be joined by a host of other celebrated acts from the Ghana gospel circles like Joe Mettle at the concert dubbed “Ghana Unites Against Covid-19” which will be held on Friday, May 1.

The virtual concert is a collaboration with the Ghana Embassy in the US. They reached out to me and of course as a son of the nation, it is my duty to respond,” Sonni Badu told JoyNews.

Sonnie Badu also promised to use the virtual concert to be streamed live on Facebook to assist the embassy raise funds amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The UK-based Ghanaian gospel artist is a philanthropist, author, and television presenter who has won multiple awards and special recognition to his name and is also a PhD holder.
