Dimaensa named best indigenous caterer in Ghana

Accra based local food outlet Dimaensa Restaurant was adjudged the best indigenous caterer at the 2020 Ghana Arts & Culture Awards held at the Labadi Beach Hotel.

The restaurant which mainly serves Ghanaian dishes in a unique way has been in existence since 2018 and managed to bag this huge award organized to encourage and motivate the EAT GHANA agenda by the government of Ghana.

The manager of Dimaensa, Gordon Akaminko believes good customer relations and consistency in terms of the quality of food has helped in getting this recognition by the board.

“We are very delighted that at least we’ve been recognized but we ultimately have to dedicate this award to our valuable customers who believed in us and patronized us” – He mentioned

The barely two-year-old restaurant was nominated in the same category with Azmera Restaurant, Mangos, Trafix Restaurant, IKE’s Cafe & Grill, and Nyo Nyo Restaurant but managed to scoop the award as the BEST INDIGENOUS CATERER.

Dimaensa Restaurant is located at 51 Swaniker Street Abelemkpe-Accra and has served its customers with sumptuous and wonderful delicacies either local or continental in a signature earthenware bowl.

The GHANA ARTS AND CULTURE AWARDS seeks to honour individuals and brands who have made significant contributions to the Arts and Culture Industry in Ghana.
