SpeedUPAfrica for July 2016 at Ashesi in Ghana

Speed Up AfricaWe are excited to announce SpeedUPAfrica – an event that promises to be Africa’s most impactful startup bootcamp gathering the top 100 hottest
startups from all over the continent of Africa with mentors and investors from Silicon Valley, the continent, and beyond.

This epic, 4-day growth and
investment-focused startup bootcamp will be chocked full of workshops, one-on-one mentor sessions, growth hacking, on-the-spot introductions,
on-the-spot investments, lots of fun, and other super cool surprises — 100% focus on execution. 500 Startups (Silicon Valley & the world’s most active early stage investor, and startup accelerator program) and Singularity University (a startup accelerator program based out of the NASA research park) will conduct mind blowing workshops, mentorship, focused on growth hacking and scale,
and will also looking at possible investment opportunities, and getting African startups into their respective accelerator programs.

Other partners are F6S, providing $10k in startups resources and toolkits per startup, RanLabs; our local partner in 17 African countries, Ashesi University; hosting the event, and NDANI TV; an arm of GTBank as our media partners. DraperDarkFlow (the organizers), a silicon valley venture capital fund (with other investors) will invest $1 million in the most promising startups.
